Montessori Education Week - February 23 through March 1, 2025
This year marks 118 years of Montessori Education. Each year in February, the Montessori Community throughout the world celebrates and honors the qualities of the Montessori Approach to Education and the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy. Maria Montessori was a pioneer in education. She paved the way for a new method of teaching, allowing children to learn through the Prepared Environment. This approach to learning is both “hands-on” and most importantly, is child centered. This approach also allows the student to move through the curriculum as they are developing lifelong skills and a love for learning.
Sunrise is fortunate to have a well-trained, dedicated team of teachers to guide our students. They are committed to the Montessori Philosophy and focused on their students and their classroom environments.
